The product was a perfect fit for a BMW E46 diamond shaped key - it is the exact replacement. One of the solder legs on the cell is a little thin, but that was the case for the original too. I found my original cell was possibly OK but the key fob stopped working because the leg cracked. It took 16 years so this one should last long enough.
